How we work

Five principles. That's the document.

We resist the urge to write a values poster. These are the five we'll defend in a hiring debate, a code review, a customer call.

Encryption, consent, audit. We design for the worst day, not the average one.

Decisions, designs, post-mortems. If it isn't written, it didn't happen.

Ship small, ship often.
A week is a long time. Two weeks is a project. A month is a rewrite waiting to happen.

Make it boring.
Cleverness compounds in the wrong direction. We pick the obvious tool and the legible solution.

Hiring process

Two to three weeks, end to end.

We aim to give you a yes or a no within 14 working days of your first call. We pay for any work-sample task that takes more than an hour.

30 minutes with the hiring manager. We talk about the role, your work, and what you're looking for.

Craft conversation

A 60-minute working session. Real artefacts from real problems we're facing. No riddles.

Team & founders

Meet the people you'll work with day to day, and at least one founder. We answer your questions.

Offer

Written, transparent on band and equity. We won't ask you to negotiate against yourself.
